Can a Gas Station Remember a Murder? by Dave Tell
The Tribbles got a grant of $200,000.00 from the state of Mississippi to restore the gas station next to Bryant’s Grocery and Meat Market by convincing those who hold such purse strings that the gas station was important because it was next door to the civil rights monument. Oh, they would do all sorts of things to remind folks of how awful things were in the bad old days!
(Forgive me, Southern Cultures, but you make quoting and citing impossible, and I do this with a good heart.)
